If the products you’re comparing have a lot of technical specs, I would save those for another comparison table below the product reviews. Remember, your visitors won’t spare you much time unless you hook them right away. A lot of details readers don’t understand may cause them to leave.

Highlight possible target audiences that would benefit from a specific product over another. Most importantly, add value–this isn’t the time to sell a specific product.

Individual Reviews

If your visitor is still reading your article past the product comparison, you have a strong chance of making a sale.

A product review in a product comparison is quite a bit different from a standalone product review. Here you want to review the product against the other product. You want to tell the reader which product is better for which target audience.

You should include key features, pros and cons, missing features, and finish with a summary of each product. Be sure to keep these reviews as unbiased as possible while still offering your opinion on why one may be better than the other in certain areas. However, many times both products will offer something to different buyers. In this case, I like to feature both products in my conclusion and highlight the specific target audiences they benefit.

After completing the initial draft of your product comparison, take some time for editing and formatting before publishing it online. Look for typos or errors in grammar/spelling and make sure everything is formatted correctly so that readers can easily scan through all the information without getting lost or overwhelmed by large blocks of text.

This is the time to add affiliate links and internal links to other articles and product reviews. Adding visuals such as images or videos can also help keep readers engaged while they read through all the material presented in the post itself!
